I'm happy because
1) I got into grad school
2) We bought a new house and it will have a 760 square foot nerd space: RPG Pit, home theater, and eventually one of those game tables from hell (plus my office).

But you live too far away from France to share your wine cellar clear-out with me! Not happy!

Maybe one of these days, our second house will be in Europe :)

If you ever take the trip, you can make a detour to the Czech Republic. I can give you a free tour of Prague :)

I'd love that. I missed PT Prague some years back even though I was scheduled (I got sick) and I hear the city is awesome.

The funny thing is that I was in Prague 2 years ago, so there is a chance that you and I have met, Antis. Very, very small, but it is possible.

myself and my lady are thinking of Prague(ing) it up at Christmas for a weekend break. We are going to Rome for a week in a month and can't wait! Is there an epic Christmas market on in Prague during Santa time?

Yep, although it' more baby Jesus than Santa around here :) But the city is beautiful in every time of the year.

It seems you can join Maiden77, then :) How cool would that be? MTGCOMMANDER.NET MEETUP IN PRAGUE!!! I'm serious, if more of you guys get together, we could have a great time! We could rent a room in a restaurant or something. I don't drink myself, but if there's anything the world has heard about my country, the beer is up there for sure :)

Prague is a good destination for a city trip, it gets my seal of approval. And that was without additional Antis value! The beer was still good though.

I would definitely be up for that! Beer (or wine!) plus huge epic EDH plus a lovely city and fine food. Lets get this done!! And it's definitely Santa for me i'm afraid, being in no way religious. Not a religion basher mind, I just don't personally have particular beliefs is all. I still appreciate all the feels around religious festival times etc so it wouldn't be lost on me haha

Well most people treat it more like a fairy tale for children than a religious tradition here, what with this country being one of the most atheistic in the world and all that. We just tell our children that it's baby Jesus bringing the presents rather than Santa. We have churches and cathedrals all over the land, sure, but the communists brought religion down hard and it never really recovered. Some would argue it's one of the few good things they did.

Today was a special day. I bought a spellslinger pack and taught my son (7 years and two months) how to play magic. Since the cards are in English I taught him a bit of foreign language as well. So now I am happy.

Well, I was going to post something snarky about a 4 year thread necro, but that's actually really cool... congrats!! My 16 year old daughter went out and played D&D for the first time last night with a bunch of her coworkers and had a blast. 8)

... good to break in the next generation of gamers (lol).

Take it easy,
Jared

Especially since he is the OP.

Yes, I'm happy. Happy, because I just got hold of a Phyrexian Tower. Maybe I could've tried harder and got hold of it sooner, as it isn't the rarest of cards. It's not an easy card to get though, every time I shop I check for availability and I haven't seen a shop (in Holland) that had them in store. We're talking years, not months...

Awesome...congrats. Sounds like somebody needs Roc Egg/Rukh Egg for Grixmas.

I'm happy that y'all are happy.
