From https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/card-preview/magic-set-about-magic-gathering-2019-05-23:

When it came time to enable Ninjas in Modern Horizons, I went back to Tormented Soul as an example of a simple creature we could change by giving it the changeling keyword.

Ninjas are back!

I love both this bear and this ninja foreshadowing so much. T_T

So excited, kinda hoping Elephant tribal gets some love (though not expecting it).

With perfect mana, reasonable removal, disruption, and card advantage, we're back to pitchforks and torches. And it's about to get worse for those who do not enjoy the game as Richard Garfield intended, playing as few win conditions as possible and prompting concession after all hopes (and spells) are lost. - Shaheen Soorani

Technically Venomous Changeling is an elephant.

One of my wishlist items came true: The return of Splice, but without Arcane!

Yea that seems pretty awesome. I am worried the U/R ones will be too good if you can just splice them into any Instant or Sorcery. W isnt that kind of color.

Please tell me this set is going to retail at normal prices and not $10 per pack like some of these things do. Please please PLEASE tell me that.

I fear for the future of casual Commander games. Cyclonic Rift is already bad enough as it is for the format...

I was interested in Scrapyard Recombiner for Glissa because it has modular, but I found that there are a lot more constructs than I thought.

I hate Cyclonic Rift. Like, way more than any rational person should. This card worries me about 2% as much as Rift does.

This is the lowest costed Plague Wind to date (with anti-graveyard love baked in too!).

But I think about the average board state when the first or second Wrath goes off. Now give the G/W token guy to your left 5+ lands right as the game starts to develop. Yikes!
