Yawgmoth's Will is pretty much completely insane. It's the swingiest card ever printed, and if it resolves you typically lose. We actually banned it for our local events and such because they're played in duels. It's not as bad in multiplayer because someone is usually playing blue or some graveyard nerfing stuff.
I think it's generally cute that people think cards are more powerful in duel because they can't rely on SOMEONE ELSE playing blue.
let me ask you this: does someone win with a turn 4 yawg will??? no, the player who won with it was probably sitting with the thing in their hand the whole game just tuning and sculpting their grave to pull out a win.
just because a player's win isn't stacking creature upon creature into the in-play zone doesn't mean their win condition isn't fair. open your eyes, watch your opponents 'yard. pack grave hate. ... they make artifacts for it so you don't even need blue!
in play is not the only zone... there are others... some like to use them to win.
