Notes/Comments: My oldest EDH deck and still one of my favourites. Does nothing but ramp for turns 1-3 and then starts pumping out giant dude after giant dude. It's not actually that often that I use Mayael, as this deck is reasonably good at keeping it's hand full and so I have plenty of options for casting great cards from my hand.

What do you think of playing Zacama, Primal Calamity instead of Gishath, Sun's Avatar? You only seem to have one other dinosaur (Carnage Tyrant) so I imagine Zacama might do a bit more for you. (Or does Gishath do really well after all?) It has no haste compared to Gishath, but it has reach instead.

Yeah I definitely want a Zacama (will add it to the list) - the two dinos I have in there happen to be the two dinos (of any great size) that I own when I randomly picked up some Ixalan cards a while back. Actually now I'm thinking about it Ghalta and Zetalpa would go nicely in here too :)

Gonna throw this out there... enrageable dinosaurs are pretty cool with Pyrohemia

I nearly - nearly - swapped out this deck and put Gishath at the helm of a Dinosaur deck (to be replaced with Zacama when I get one) but I just can't pull this deck apart because it was literally the first deck I built. If I did, Pyrohemia and Enrage (especially that dude that makes copies of himself) would be pretty awesome.

Heh, back in Ravnica/Time Spiral days I was using Pyrohemia to fuel Sprouting Phytohydras in an incredibly bad Standard deck. Doing that with Polyraptor just seems like that only, you know, good.

Yeah, enrage is nutty. Even just the rampant growth dino is great (Ping with pyrohemia, get mountains for more pings...)

One of my friends has a Gishath dinosaur deck where he's got most of the enrage guys, and he adamantly refuses to run Pyrohemia or any of the Earthquake variants 'cause he thinks they're bad. It makes me want to build a dinosaur deck of my own, then crush him with it repeatedly til he sees the errors of his ways.
