Working on the first draft of a Grismold, the Dreadsower group thug type deck. Mid-tier power level. Gardening/Farming/Plant subtheme. The goal is to give my opponents a bunch of tokens and the wipe boards with Massacre Wurm for massive life loss and a bunch of counters on Ol' Gris. Back up win cons include Scapeshift and Titania, Protector of Argoth and/or Worm Harvest. That said, come tiptoe through my decklist:

I'm blanking of farm themed cards, but I feel like I'd want some extra protection for Grismold, and maybe and extra buff or two for my own tokens (Beastmaster Ascension is usually good).

If you've got Scapeshift in as an alt-win, you might throw in Field of the Dead too.

Good calls. I need to update the decklist, as what I built looks pretty different. I already run Asceticism, but I'll also add either Dark Privilege or Touch of Doom as added protection for Grismold.

Thanks! The art on Dark Privilege is too good to not use. I mean, the Creature from the Black Lagoon wearing a tentacle wig AND holding a pimp chalice? What's not to love?

A couple of updates:

-Vernal Bloom
-Greenwarden of Murasa

+Engineered Explosives
+Helm of the Host

Greenwarden may end up getting swapped back in for Creakwood Ghoul, we'll have to see which effect I want more. In the couple of games I've gotten to play with Grismold, I have found that my opponents quickly become reluctant to let their tokens die. Engineered Explosives will help with that. Helm of the Host was put in to help create more plants. Why settle for one troll gardener when I can make more?

Hogaak will probably get the boot in favor of this beauty!
