My understanding is, if you cast Humble on a Darksteel Colossus and then Shock it, it goes to the graveyard, since the ability:

If Darksteel Colossus would be put into a graveyard from anywhere, reveal Darksteel Colossus and shuffle it into its owner's library instead.

Is removed by Humble. Generals also have this ability:

If a General would be put into a graveyard from anywhere, its owner may remove it from the game instead. (This is a replacement effect.. the creature never goes to the graveyard and will not trigger abilities on going to the graveyard)

Does this mean that Humble (and Humility) can force Generals into the graveyard?

This does not work. The replacement effect to remove the general from the game is not on the card, it is a format rule. Humble will get rid of the generals powers for a bit, but not change the fact that it is a general.

Agreed, if Humble/Humility removed the “when this leaves playâ€

7. Generals are announced and removed from the game before shuffling at the start of the game. Being a General is not a characteristic[MTG CR201], it is a property of the card. As such, "Generalness" cannot be copied or overwritten by continuous effects, and does not change with control of the card.

yup
