Hi, just wanted to clear up an argument a friend and I are having.

He states (and I tend to agree with him), that if I am under an "opponent controls your turn" effect like Mindslaver, that he can choose to put my commander in exile permanently. The format rules seem to imply that if the CMDR would leave play its owner can choose to put it in the command zone.

So, who gets to choose in this case?
Pierre

He is correct, since you control that players turn. So you make all (in game) actions for that player to include the commander replacement effect.

The only game-related decision the controlling player doesn't get to make is whether or not to concede.
