I have, many times. It's actually one of my favorites. And to stay on topic with it, a lot of the suggestions you have bandied about lately have been 'tilting at windmills', so to speak.

Yeah... No. He might be fun to house-rule as a general, but he'd be stupid at a format-level allowance. First off, if he was legalized we would either have to A: legalize all "un" cards or B: have an extensive list of which ones are legal. And you're talking to someone who's username and favorite card is an Unhinged card. I'd love nothing more than for Uktabi Kong to be legal. Unfortunately, the logistics problems of doing so are too much work to be worth it.
Slippery slope comes to mind. Tell you what, you (not you Kong) get Richard Garfield, Ph.D. and I get Enter the Dungeon. Oh, the tables we would need!

What happens if we're in the middle of a subgame and someone plays an Enter the Dungeon?

Start the new subgame under another table.

It is really hard to pull off the nested subgames in Commander. While you're playing the subgame, Enter the Dungeon is still on the stack in the main game, and you can't have any other copies of it in your library. I guess you could Twincast the original, then Memory Lapse the original with the copy on the stack. That would give you a copy of ETD in your subgame library.

Wasn't there some thread recently about somebody trying figure out the best thing they could do with Mirror of Fate?
