I know i don't think so, but searching for context on a line here about Mardu Woe-Reaper at Sheldon's article about FRF under "most likely will be played".

Mardu Woe-Reaper: I both love and loathe the idea of more and better graveyard hate available in the format. I love it because other people like to abuse their graveyards. I loathe it because I like to enjoy my graveyard responsibly. Graveyard hate continuing to get better leads to a conversation about Recurring Nightmare. Yeah, that conversation.

What context is this in? Surely not that THIS card is good enough to cause an unban of RN? But rather, that GY hate is getting better and better and even on efficiently-costed 'playable' cards that now just have incidental GY-hate stapled onto them.

I mean how close are we. What is that conversation? The conversation where it finally happens, or the conversation that leads to a "no" but surely comes up anyway?

He loves it, knows its not fun with people who dont know how to reign in degenerate cards. It won't be unbanned in the foreseeable future based on his comments I have seen.

Yeah, I think you don't understand my position on RN: it would be fine for me, because I wouldn't abuse it (really, I swear). Trusting other people with that much power is scary. I'd probably trust Toby, but we're already getting to my limit.

I don't think there is such a thing as "not abusing" RN. At its mildest it still ends up encouraging lines that make you want to pat Deadeye Navigator on the head and take him out for ice cream to make him feel better.

I think "that conversation" is the eye-roll-inducing I-can't-believe-we-have-to-talk-about-this sort of conversation.

This is what i was getting at, not that other posts were bad.

I was kind of thinking this but was talking about it with someone else who thought differently.
