[Work in Progress]

Ok, I've come back to this and decided that it needs to be listed a little differently to avoid articles falling through the cracks and other acts of God (like my chronic laziness! ) I've cut the individual articles for generic searches by author for those that write columns in various places. In some cases, it doesn't make that much difference, Sheldon writes EDH-related content almost exclusively for example, but the Bennie Smith search will cough up all of Bennies work on that site, not just the EDH related content. That's not a bad thing because Bennie is a good writer and us EDHers don't live in a bubble (heh!) but you may have to work a little harder to find what you want.

That said, if you have ideas for specific articles on EDH or multiplayer that are pretty much the seminal article on a specific subject (I know that the Ferret has written some multiplayer gems down through the years), don't be afraid to link them on here and I will, I promise, get around to adding it. I've left the Bennie Smith EDH primers parts 1, 2 & 3 on here for example. Give me more and I'll add more.

Happy reading!

This is an Arms Race by Adam Styborski.
A very interesting read on finding the right power level and teh quest for fun.

Some MUST READ work from Ben:

"We Play Too" by Sheldon Menery on Channel Fireball
It's now actually kinda hard to search our just the Sheldon Articles on Channel Fireball as they were posted by Riki or LSV or someone else so searching by author: Sheldon doesn't give you anything. If you do a generic "Sheldon Menery" content search through their strategy search engine you get all the "WE PLAY TOO" articles though mixed up with every other time Sheldon gets mentioned, which, as he's the head judge/honcho/guy, is quite often when you have a pile of pros commenting on their pro-tour experiences. Here's a link to Channel Fireball anyway, go knock yourself out!

"Conquerer-Commander" by Mike Morales on Pure MTGO
I have to apologise to Mike because he's been very diligent in sending me links to his excellent articles and I haven't been adding them as diligently. With the change of format here, I won't have to (which is a cop out Mike, I know, Sorry!). Here's a link to the Conquerer & Commander articles on Pure MTGO. They are well worth a read even if you don't play Magic Online. You know Mike on here & MTGO as Tarasco and on Pure MTGO as Leviathan (in case you're wondering about the multiple names)

An excellent addition from Treamayne:

I have resources like all Legendary Creatures indexed by Color and CMC. Lists of Common and Uncommon Legends. I have also indexed Commanders by Creature Types and show what Type/Color Combinations have enough creatures to make singleton tribal decks for EDH (using the 1/3d count - so 33+the General).

This is an awesome and much-needed project.

I think it might be more helpful to make an annotated bibilography of sorts instead of a list of links. Sheldon's articles on SCG seem to focus on EDH ethics, competitive EDH, and game recaps, while Bennie's seem to consist of deckbuilding theories and deck doctoring. (I know that repetitive code is a pain in the butt, not to mention a strain on the wrists. :D )

I had initially intended on breaking everything out thematically but there's too much overlap. What will eventually happen is a 10 word or less annotation on each but I'm going to focus on getting the links (the main ones, if not the individual ones) up here first and going from there. Fell free to make suggestions on particular topics or articles and I'll add them in.

On SCG, you can link to a specific author. May be helpful for Sheldon's articles because his series is dedicated to EDH.

If you want to link to things specifically, may I suggest six categories?

--Gameplay (event reports, game recaps, anything that would describe a specific EDH-related event happening)
--Deckbuilding (decklists, first-time deckbuilder advice, card trial and error)
--Strategy (table politics, metagame decisions, etc.)
--Theory (EDH rules, policies, ethics, etc.)
--Cool stuff (altered art, funny or awesome game recaps, etc.)
--General (sources devoted to some or all of these)

I'm still rooting for the annotated bib. Less work in the long run, plus you don't have to update it every time a new instance appears, just a new source.

Got it now, thanks! Strange that I missed that one, I spent long enough on his search results.
