Hey folks,
Gonna use this thread as a landing place for all my decklist threads; I'll post here and on the relevant decklist when decks get updated (which, following my usual schedule, is about once every 4 years or so....)

Yeah but "old" is definitely the operative term; it's pretty out of date and the links are even more so. I plan (heh) to keep this one up to date

Well, I could repost my list of decks if you'd like, since I think it'll be different even from whatever I last posted. I haven't checked. Anyway...
How do you like Anax and Cymede? I don't recall if that's one you had previously. Anyway, I can't seem to find very many people who think Anax and Cymede has any merit as a commander whatsoever. We have a decent amount of decks in common, actually--in commander and/or strategy.

I like them fine; there's probably not enough targeting spells to really take advantage of their heroic and it's a "get slightly better" ability rather than a "blowout" one - but I like my R/W weenie soldiers. I have the original Gisela in there but I don't own the new one or an Aurelia, both of which would probably make the deck better.
It runs out of steam fairly easily (but hopefully the changes I've made by taking out Battalion and putting in Allies) give it a bit more reach. We'll see, I plan on running it tomorrow night.

I did; a lot of the cards I bought from cardkingdom were from suggestions in that thread Have I missed some?
Feel free to post away but obv having your lists mid-thread isn't really ideal

Not sure, you posted the "I just spent 300 bucks" post an hour-and-a-half after I posted suggestions. So I was just never sure if you saw them before the purchase (or after if looking for more fodder). Not important, just curious.

No Worries, I was only going to post for comparison mostly. I don't tend to post decklists, usually because I adjust them so frequently (I tend to make changes to at least one deck every time I log in to MTGO)that it would be a pain to maintain if I posted them anywhere; so it was more a curiosity thing (and sharing of ideas).
------------------ Key: ACTIVE Built, needs updates Prospective All decks are on MTGO, unless annotated "(Paper)"
* - Dismantling the paper Animar to build the Horde of Notions Paper RS Elemental ** - Undecided which will remain as primary General, for now I switch back and forth
My problem with the four color decks is that I'm not particularly fond of any of the options. I may use Breya for a thopter deck if I go with Toothy for the U deck. I would have loved Saskia, if WOTC hadn't horked her creature types (she should have been Barbarian or Barbarian Warrior - but Soldier just ruins her for me...). Also, none of the partner pairs that result in four color interest me at all. It's a stetch to be intrigued by the URG pair above; but if I am replacing Animar in paper, I may also replace it online. None of the other URG Generals appeal to me (just as none of the GUB generals do, Muldrotha is the closest I've seen but I don't know what I would want to do with it other than more Elementals).

True, but at the same time I don't suspect many people would actually be interested in what I've built, so I'm okay if it gets buried. I'm aware some (probably a lot) of the decks I've made aren't super original--I mean, Atraxa Planeswalkers isn't original--but I build on inspiration of what sounds fun. It is what it is.
