I know we have a thread on Morophon, but not on MH1 in general. So time to remedy that...

Can I just express how annoyed I am that Vista is a rare. That is going to be such a sought after card, instead of being a $5 value uncommon, it's going to be a $25-30 rare with an $80 foil.

I was having this conversation on a Discord I'm on - there's no way it'll be $30 since the land it fetches can only ever tap for one colour. The Vintage and Legacy crowd will straight up avoid this like the plague, and even modern relies on Shocklands for manabases. I figure it'll be $10-15 at launch at settle somewhere $5-8. Which is still too expensive for a Terramorphic Expanse that dings you to untap the land.

I will admit that I'd rather have seen a completion of the Flood Plain cycle from Mirage, with opposed dyads. On the other hand, I can't fault WotC for trying to make basics more desirable.

Meanwhile, this is one way to get people to run plenty of snow lands...

Looking at the snow cards, it seems like they're adding some pretty fun draft strategies which I'm excited about. The last year's had the best limited environments ever.

Who needed cards for their Feather/Hada/Shou Yun deck?

You forget Arjun. My Arjun deck wants this card as a really fun one.

Full... Art...Snowlands (wipes drool off keyboard)

I'll take 20 of each, thank you!

Are these going to be the basic land in every pack? Or are they going to cost me lots of money?

Both. They are the basic land in every pack, and they'll cost a BUNCH

Normal islands: like 5c but basically free
Zendikar fullart islands, but there's a lot of them and they've been in multiple sets now: 50c
Unstable fullart islands, only one of them in one set: $5

Snow islands: $2.50-$3. (No idea how the price will change: this set's going to introduce more supply of snow lands in general, but also introduce new Snow Matters cards.)
Fullart snow islands: Probably $10 each minimum

Yes, they previewed all five at once. It's just that the image they used only had these two fully visible. WB is Silent Clearing, UR is Fiery Islet, GU is Waterlogged Grove.

I love these lands.

Not thrilled that Basic Fetchland is rare... but I like it.
